inspiration from soulemama
since i have been blogging - let's see its been about four years now, off and on, i have been reading amanda blake soule's blog soule mama. her creativity and world as a mother of four at home in the wilds of maine, have emboldened me to stretch my muscles and begin to knit and craft, whether i finish, whether i am any good, and whether anyone sees or not. here is a wonderful post on knitting. thank you amanda!

Hi Esther! I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your encouraging comment on my blog. It was very uplifting. I will pray for you and another move. I can only imagine the difficulty that is for you as a momma, making a new nest after new nest, after new nest. You can do it through Christ's strength. I have found that I'm most at peace when I surrender whatever I'm going through to Him and when I confess a willingness to endure what he has. Rather than hope and wish and long for something different, or for a release from the trial, but I just say okay, Lord, I say yes through your strength to whatever you have for me. Even trial and even suffering. He is such a loving Father, I'm learning that more and more. We really can trust Him. Even in the trials and the hardships, I love this verse, "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." 2 Cor. 4:17
ReplyDeleteSo take heart, Jesus loves you. He really does! Don't ever let your sin make you think he doesn't. He paid for that. It's finished. Go to Him. Go to Him. Go to Him. Never shy away because he has open arms towards you.
Love,
Abby
